"A CHURCH THAT IS GOING TO ANOTHER LEVEL"
Welcome to the First Pentecostal Tabernacle. We are a church that is "GOING TO ANOTHER LEVEL." We believe in preaching, teaching and living the truth of the Apostolic, Pentecostal Faith. We have been working this road to Glory for 60 years. What a journey! Our journey began with a tent, a Bible and a short, blue-eyed curly-headed fireball preacher, by the name of Hugh A. McNatt and his loving wife Sis. Mary L. McNatt. Bro. and Sis. McNatt have led countless souls to the Lord Jesus Christ. They had a vision with a love and burden for the hopeless and the wayward seeking answers to life's difficult situations. As ministers of this great gospel they always remained totally devoted to Jesus Christ and are worthy of double honor. Sis. McNatt is "The Virtuous Woman." She is accepted by everyone and shunned by no one. To know love, compassion and a generous spirit is to know Sis. McNatt. There are givers and there are takers in this life. Sis. McNatt is a giver. Many times will find her lacking and going without only to render help to those in need or the less fortunate. She has given many hours to the ministry, especially dedicating time to convalescent centers, prisons and lovingly devoting hours to the troubled youth. She is a great prayer warrior and very established in the Word of God. She is a lovely person full of life and wit and remains an active part of FPT. Bro. McNatt was a Godly man of great integrity, honesty and kindness. He always preached the word and never compromised or wavered, but always stood true. He loved and was loved by all. He was a true one of a kind friend. He never found fault, but always looked for the good in each individual. His honest nature was so astounding. One memory comes to mind finding him making a return trip driving the ten miles to a pharmacy to give back a small amount of money that the clerk mistakenly gave to him. Children at FPT loved him so very much and most called him pawpaw. They always looked forward to the one dollar he gave each of them on their birthday. We love and miss you pastor. Bro. McNatt departed this life in September of 2006, leaving behind an amazing legacy.....passing on the torch to William and Sylvia Autrey. Bro. McNatt may have been a small man in stature, but he left behind huge shoes to fill. Who better to lead his beloved saints, than a daughter and son-in-law so close to his heart. Pastor Autrey is everyone's hero. He is a Godly man full of love and concern for all people. He has been a pillar in all aspects and dedicated to FPT for 53 years. Sis. Autrey is an anointed minister of the gospel and is a true example of a woman with a prayer warrior's heart. Any given time upon entering the sanctuary you will find her at the altar weeping for the souls of not only her loved ones, but also the stranger on the street. God has truly blessed us with the BEST! Please take some time to join with us and experience just a small portion of the journey of Rev. Hugh A. and Mary L. McNatt, as Pastors William and Sylvia Autrey continue the legacy in leading The First Pentecostal Tabernacle to ANOTHER LEVEL in Jesus Christ. As the song says: Don't stop preaching, keep believing, We're going to another level. Don't stop pressing for your blessing, We're going to another level. | Return Home | Thank God for the Preacher | Greetings from Our Pastors | Service Times | Train up a Child | Gleanings | Precious Memories | Photo Gallery | Good News | Contact Us | |
